Hunter Hayes
New Jersey born Hunter Hayes was raised on Gospel, Jazz and R&B music. When he was around 5 years old, his mother would sometimes find him sleeping by the big radio. While Hunter was growing up, he would see his father’s drums come in and out of the house. Recordings of the great Jazz legends like Nat King Cole, Sarah Vaughn, Frank Sinatra, along with Miles Davis, John Coltrane and Amhad Jamal were always playing on the Hi-Fi.
Hunter has had a long recording career with De-Lite Records, Island Records and Columbia/Sony. Hunter has shared the stage and/or recorded with a number of legendary musicians, including, James Brown, Kool & The Gang, The Stylistics, Maurice White of Earth Wind and Fire, Stevie Wonder, Teddy Pendergrass, “Joe"Joshua Thompson, David (Pic) Conley, Mel Davis "the famous New Jersey organist" and the great Lonnie Young Blood "The Prince Of Harlem". Hunter has won acclaim and awards from the many avenues of his musical life. He has received seven television Emmy Awards, citations from the Television Academy of Arts and Sciences for composing the theme music to "DUE PROCESS".
