Tim Sessions

Tim Sessions is an active freelance musician in the New York City area. Tim has years of experience on Broadway, where he plays both tenor and bass trombone, euphonium, tuba and electric bass. His shows have included "Titanic," "Wild Party," "The Producers" and "Young Frankenstein," as well as substitute work on countless shows.

 Tim has performed with many notable artists such as: David Sanborn, Bob Mintzer, Ed Shaunessy, Clark Terry, Paquito D’Rivera, Shorty Rogers, David Baker, Lou Rawls, Tom Jones, Tony Bennett, Diana Ross, Jay and the Americans, Leslie Uggums, Teddy Pendegrass and the Xavier Cugat Orchestra. He is also a regular member of The Dave Liebman Big Band, The Bobby Sanabria Big Band, The BMI Composer's Workshop Orchestra, The Smoke Big Band, The Lehigh Jazz Repertory Orchestra, has his own fusion sextet and teaches at Lehigh University.
