Ismael Vergara was born in Lima, Peru. He began his musical studies choosing the clarinet as his instrument. At the age of 17, he finally began what will probably be his lifelong journey with the saxophone.

Shortly after moving to USA, he was already performing with countless local bands in the Miami area, developing as a professional saxophonist.

Ismael's extraordinary versatility with musical styles (Jazz, Pop, Rock, Latin, Classical, among others) and his ability to switch effortlessly between all saxophones, clarinets and flute make him a one-of-a-kind musician.

In addition to the aforementioned, he is a skilled arranger; producing assorted material in his home-based recording studio (fully equipped with state-of-the-art gear) and working as a busy session player in recording sessions for different artist from USA and abroad. He also has done countless works for T.V., Film and musicals.

Ismael's large talent has definitely made him a favorite among bandleaders and producers all over the USA.
